I have a charge on my debit card or credit card that I don’t recognize. What do I do?

If the charge is on your debit card:

The best first step is to contact the merchant directly to see if they have more information on the charge. Once the merchant has been contacted, if they are not willing or are unable to help you, you may dispute the charge through Mastercard. This can be done by filling out a Dispute Form that is available at any 3Rivers branch. Once the form is received, we'll try to dispute the transaction on your behalf.

If the charge is on your credit card:

The best start is to contact the merchant directly to see if they have more information on the charge. Once the merchant has been contacted, if they are not willing or able to help you, you may dispute the charge through Mastercard. You may dispute any charge by contacting Mastercard at 1-844-344-3874 or by logging in to your credit card through our Online Access and using the dispute option provided.
